It was a beautiful afternoon here at the BRIK Wedding Venue where Marlee and Ben were getting ready for the grand day to unfold. Wonderful weather so close to winter is a rarity in Texas, but the sun was out and shining today for the two love birds! I have had the honor of photographing Ben’s proposal to Marlee, their engagement session, and now their big wedding day! I loved being able to capture every chapter of their love story and being able to share it with you all in this blog.
Working with me today was Tami, an amazing photographer who’s shot a few weddings with me, and Erin whos planning allowed us to capture the little in-between and candid moments of the wedding day. Shoutout to all the great vendors who contributed to this day to make it as beautiful as possible!
You know it’s not a wedding without the reception at the end! But before we get to the partying, we have to discuss the toasts by the Best Man, Maid of Honor, and parents of the couple. Their speeches were heartfelt to say the least. It says a lot about someone when you hear the way people talk about their experiences with them – For Ben and Marlee, you can tell that they truly touched the lives of everyone there from the genuinity between the speeches and interactions. The speeches encompassed a story: The joy of initially meeting someone who becomes a close friend to you, to the countless happy memories y’all shared, and to the happiness you felt for them when they found their forever partner.
Needless to say, Ben and Marlee are surrounded by amazing individuals because they are both caring and genuine to all. It was easy capturing this celebration for the two!
Join me in congratulating Marlee & Ben! I wish y’all forever happiness on your journey through life together! 💕
