Among the many truths in life, I know that there’s no sweeter sight than a couple truly in love! This past weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Julia and Victor’s engagement session. We had the session early in the morning to take advantage of the “cooler” morning weather. Texas is the only place low 80’s with high humidity would be considered cool. 😂 That didn’t matter, as Victor and Julia’s icy fits kept them cooler than a cucumber.

With their move from North Carolina to Texas, Julia and Victor were leaving a life there were familiar with to welcome the opportunities available to them here. I asked Julia if there was something she missed from NC and she easily replied with the drivers. I don’t want to agree too quickly as sometimes I find myself in what feels like a race against time to get to a shoot, but drivers here, Dallas drivers in particular 👀 are ALWAYS in a rush.

Fortunately, the drive this morning wasn’t too hectic and Victor and Julia made this engagement session a breeze. My favorite part of this session was noticing the heartfelt smiles that came across Julia and Victor’s faces when they looked at each other. Smiles that convey much more than words could possibly describe. 💕
