I was in the dressing room with April and we heard a knock on the door. April, finishing her finishing touches said “Come in”, and the door slowly opened. April turned around to see who was at the door and it was none other than her father. April hugged her father with tears in her eyes, excited that the big moment she’s waited for is here. Prior to this, I was talking with April about how she was feeling for her big day; she described how she didn’t feel nervous because everything seemed to feel right.

The music stated playing and the doors opened. April is standing there with her father. As she walked down the aisle, I saw a grin come across her face. April gets to the front where Eric is standing and a single tear ran down. I got to witness a milestone and the beginning of a journey for the newlywed Ortizs, making me once again realize why I love doing what I do!

The reception was full of energy the second April and Eric made their grand entrance. While the couple was having their first dance, their son Pablo made his way to the dance floor as well! 😂 The night ended with heartfelt speeches and meaningful interactions between the now-one-big family! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Ortiz! October 24th, 2020 was a love-filled day. Celebrating with the people closest to you creates moments you will cherish forever. I wish you two the best!
